Leasing has begun for apartments at the RiverPoint residential development at Buzzard Point at the confluence of the Anacostia and Potomac rivers in Southwest Washington.
RiverPoint, located at 2121 First St. SW, is a partnership between Akridge, Western Development and ORR Partners. More than 75 percent of the 480 apartments have water views, and the building has direct water access for boating, fishing and kayaking as well as adjacency to the James Creek Marina and the 20-mile Anacostia Riverwalk Trail.
The apartment building is a little more than one mile from the Waterfront Metro station, the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro station, Nationals Park and the Yards Park, and it’s approximately a half-mile from Audi Field. The Wharf is just under two miles away.
